SVETE, CTR3(PN) Ed email@example.com "...I came to VP-6 in the middle of 1972 as a "Converted CT" CTR3(PN). Didn't like the Personnel Office job, but enjoyed the people and the squadron. AWCS Chuck Clevenger helped me get my private pilot license in 1973, and I was able to do a little flying with the NAS Cubi Point, Philippines Flying Club. Today, 14,000 flight hours later, I still miss the good times we had at NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii, NAF Naha, Okinawa, Japan, and NAS Cubi Point, Philippines. By the way, if you're going to be in the North Florida area, check out the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola, Florida you can easilly spend a day there. I'd definately like to hear from some of the VP-6 gang from 1972 to 1974..." [31AUG2001]
