Note CPW-2 NoticeNote

Note NOTICE: "...I am writing in relation to a former member of CPW-2, Mr Wesley Howard Goodall. Mr Goodall served in CPW-2 during WWII and is buried in the Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. I am interested in knowing more about his wartime service and was wondering how best to try and make contact with former colleagues who may remember him. I have looked at the CPW-2 shipmates page but the majority of the names listed there are of relatively young men who would have no knowledge of him. Any help you are able to give me in relation to this matter would be very much appreciated. Yours sincerely, Sally Erwood-Carryer jubilee49@optusnet.com.au, Perth, Western Australia..." [29MAR2004]

Note NOTICE: "...Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance WING TWO Reestablished Sometime In October 2003 - About 4 years ago whilst serving as the Command Master Chief of VP-4, I asked for stories and any information about the Skinny Dragons in order to perpetuate our lineage to the young Airmen coming up through the ranks. Thanks to a great outpouring of stories and information, the Skinny Dragon legacy lives on. I appreciate all those who contributed. Now I have a new project. Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance WING TWO will be reconstituted sometime in October 2003. We will be at our original home at MCAS/NAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. In order to perpetuate that same lineage and history to our Airmen (and have something decent to put in the ceremony program). I'm asking again for any information on the history of CPW2. Dates, locations, action seen, squadrons attached, anecdotes, former Wing Commanders and dates. Anyone with an old change of command program that has much of this information would definitely be a plus. Anything mailed to me will be treated with the utmost care and will be returned promptly as needed. Mahalo Nui Loa Shipmates!
