UPDATE "...I am seeking surviving members of CASU(F)-13. My uncle, Ensign James Barrett McLendon, was flying F6F-5 (BUNO: 71534) on 3 March 1945 before going down the SW Pacific/PITYILU. I am hoping that someone who was flying near him on that day has information about what happened to him on that fateful day. Any photo's with him in a group would be helpful too..."
